About Solitaire Golf
Solitaire Golf is a card puzzle that asks you to clear cards from the table by building a stack from the visible card at the bottom right. The suit does not matter, so the key decision is whether a card can connect numerically with the current stack card.
Each round begins with the top covered card opened, revealing the first card available for play. Cards hidden beneath other cards become usable when they are uncovered, while jokers provide flexible wild-card choices. Aces can work at either end of the sequence, giving them a special role during a round.
How to Play Solitaire Golf
Start by turning over the top covered card, then check the face-up stack card before choosing from the table.
Place a table card on the stack when its value is immediately next to the visible stack value in either direction.
Ignore suits when deciding whether a card fits, since only the permitted value relationship matters.
Use a joker as a wild card, and remember that an ace may connect as either high or low.
Reveal covered cards by removing available cards from the table, then continue extending the stack.
Tips & Tricks
- 1Look for moves that uncover a covered card, since opening more of the table gives you additional choices.
- 2Save a joker for a moment when ordinary table cards do not connect cleanly with the stack.
- 3Treat aces as useful links at either end, and check both possible directions before passing one up.
