About Freecell Solitaire
Freecell Solitaire is a card puzzle where the goal is to clear the tableau by building the four foundation piles. Cards must be arranged by suit and rank, with the Aces providing the starting point for ascending sequences.
Four free cells give you temporary places to store individual cards while you uncover the columns. The game suits both score-focused play and a relaxed puzzle session, and its familiar rules reward planning several moves ahead.
How to Play Freecell Solitaire
Arrange cards from the tableau onto the foundations by suit and in ascending rank order.
Move Aces to the foundation row early when they are available.
Place up to four cards in the free cells to open access to cards beneath them.
Use the standard Freecell rules to reorganize the columns and clear the tableau.
Tips & Tricks
- 1Keep free cells open whenever possible so they remain useful for future moves.
- 2Look for blocked low cards before moving a higher card that could make the columns harder to manage.
- 3Build foundation piles steadily, but first check whether moving a card will uncover a more important tableau card.
