About Fairway Solitaire
Fairway Solitaire combines card matching with a golf setting, asking you to remove cards from a layout rather than play a traditional hand. The next available card determines which table card can be chosen, so each move depends on the values currently exposed.
A face-up card sits beside the covered draw pile, and the main aim is to clear as much of the table as possible. Golf-inspired hazards and unusual card types add decisions beyond the basic rule, while nine courses give the game a clear set of goals.
How to Play Fairway Solitaire
Check the face-up card at the bottom before choosing from the table.
Clear a table card when its value is exactly one above or one below the displayed card.
Use the covered pile to reveal another card when no useful table move is available.
Watch for course features such as water, sand, iron cards, and wild cards, since they affect how the card layout is handled.
