The opening choice matters because the strongest double starts play when available, with double six taking priority. A round can also lock up; in that case, the player holding the fewest points wins, giving blocked positions a strategic finish.
How to Play Dominoes BIG
Each participant receives either seven dominoes in a two-player game or six when three or four people play.
The player holding the highest double opens; if no double is available, the strongest double determines the starter.
Place a tile so one of its numbers matches a number at an open end of the domino chain.
When you cannot make a move, use the remaining face-down dominoes as the draw pile.
Aim to place every tile in your hand before the other players, or keep the fewest points if play becomes blocked.
