Dungeon Chess

Dungeon Chess turns a dungeon crawl into a compact card and strategy puzzle. You command a hero through chess-like movement by choosing cards that represent chess figures, then place each move carefully on a small dungeon board. Monsters have taken over the dungeons, so every decision matters.

The rules are approachable even without previous chess experience, while the tactical situations can still be demanding. Its roguelike-style structure and fantasy setting make each confrontation feel like a battle of positioning rather than a simple card choice. Planning a route, reading enemy abilities, and finding a safe attack create the central challenge.

Start a game and choose a card showing a chess figure.

Press the board space where you want the selected figure or hero to move.

Use the available chess-piece movement to approach monsters and manage the dungeon.

Plan each action around the enemies and their different abilities.
