About Surviving in the Woods
Surviving in the Woods is a 3D forest survival game where your only tool is an axe. Trees provide the main material, and cutting them lets you build a shelter in the wilderness. You can play in a day forest or a night forest, giving the setting two distinct ways to approach the same survival task.
Movement and resource handling use a wide keyboard layout, while the left mouse button handles building and cutting. You can pick up and drop items, run, jump, and pause when needed. The central routine is to gather wood, manage items, and create protection among the trees.
How to Play Surviving in the Woods
Move with WASD or the arrow keys, jump with Space, and run with Shift.
Press E to pick up an item and R to drop one.
Use the left mouse button to cut trees and build a shelter.
Press Esc or P to pause while managing your forest survival.
Tips & Tricks
