About Crescent Solitaire
Crescent Solitaire arranges its cards in a distinctive crescent around eight central foundation piles. The aim is to move every card from the outside tableau into those foundations, building each suit upward from ace to king and also downward from king to ace. The two-direction system makes familiar solitaire ideas feel more tactical.
Cards can also be rearranged within the tableau, but only when the cards share a suit and the moved card is exactly one value above or below the card underneath it. Planning which cards to uncover and where to place them is the heart of the puzzle.
How to Play Crescent Solitaire
Click a card to select it, then click a legal foundation or tableau destination.
Build foundation piles by suit, using ascending ace-to-king or descending king-to-ace order.
Move tableau cards only onto a same-suit card that is directly higher or lower.
Continue transferring cards until the outer piles are empty.
Tips & Tricks
- 1Before moving a card, check whether it is blocking a useful card beneath it or opening a needed foundation route.
- 2Keep suit restrictions in mind, since a nearby value cannot be used if its suit does not match.
- 3Use both foundation directions deliberately rather than sending every available card toward the same type of pile.
