About Stellar Assault

Stellar Assault puts you in a lone starfighter against 40 waves of alien enemies. You can choose among the Interceptor, Destroyer, Phantom, and Dreadnought, with each vessel offering different stats and a distinct way to play. Surviving the assault earns upgrade points, turning every successful wave into a chance to improve the ship.

Between attacks, those points can repair the hull, strengthen weapons, reinforce shields, or deploy combat drones. Mini-bosses arrive every fifth wave, while major boss encounters appear every tenth, giving the battle regular threats to prepare for. The goal is to hold the line through as much of the alien assault as possible.

How to Play Stellar Assault

Move with WASD or the arrow keys, and fire with Space.

Use the mouse for movement if that control feels more comfortable.

Press P to pause or resume, and press M to mute or unmute the game.

Spend earned upgrade points on hull repairs, weapons, shields, or combat drones.

Tips & Tricks

1Choose a vessel whose listed style suits your approach, such as the nimble Interceptor or armored Dreadnought.
2Use upgrade points to address the ship's current weakness instead of improving one system automatically.
3Expect a mini-boss every five waves and a major boss every ten, so preserve enough strength for those encounters.
