About Starship Ducks

A duck in a jetpack drops onto moon terrain and faces waves of hostile machines. This 2D shooter has an unusual movement challenge: firing the weapon pushes the character backward in the low gravity. Each shot therefore affects both your attack and your position, making aim and movement closely connected.

Choose one of four jetpacks before entering the lunar fight, then try to endure the growing wave assault. Drones, gunships, tanks, and swarms of bugs can appear as threats. Defeated enemies may leave SMGs, shotguns, health packs, or shields, while the space between waves offers a choice between two system upgrades. The run is about seeing how many waves your duck can survive.

How to Play Starship Ducks

Use WASD for four-direction thrust; low gravity causes heavy drifting, so movement continues after input.

Aim with the mouse and hold the left button to fire. Remember that every shot pushes the duck backward.

Press Space to use the jetpack thrust profile selected for your chosen pack.

Collect dropped weapons, health packs, and shields, then choose one of the two offered systems upgrades between waves.

Use the on-screen Pause button or Esc to pause. The game also pauses automatically when its tab is hidden.

Tips & Tricks

  1. 1Treat recoil as part of your movement: firing can create distance, but it can also push you away from a useful position.
  2. 2Choose a jetpack whose thrust behavior suits how you want to control drift, since each pack has its own profile.
  3. 3Consider the space between waves carefully when selecting an upgrade, and make use of health packs or shields when enemy pressure rises.
