About Master Chess
Master Chess presents the classic chess board in a clean, stylish format. Your aim is to place pieces strategically and checkmate the opponent, so each move needs to support both your attack and your defense.
You can play against the computer across three difficulty levels or challenge a friend locally. The game therefore works as either a solo battle against the board's opponent or a face-to-face contest on the same device. Mouse control keeps piece selection and movement direct.
How to Play Master Chess
Use the mouse to select and move chess pieces.
Choose a computer match and select one of the three difficulty levels.
Play a local game against a friend when you want a two-player contest.
Develop a position that threatens checkmate while protecting your own king.
Tips & Tricks
- 1Before moving, check whether your piece is protected and whether your king is exposed.
- 2Use easier computer play to test basic plans, then compare them against stronger opposition.
- 3In local matches, examine the full board after every move before deciding on your reply.
