The search becomes a tense shooting adventure because the darkness is not empty. Creatures can try to grab you while you explore, so the handgun is needed to defend yourself and clear a path. Look through the shadowy places, collect the bowls, and push the nightmare toward its escape condition.
How to Play Shoot Your Nightmare: Halloween Special
Move through the nightmare with W, A, S, and D while using the mouse to inspect the darkness.
Fire with the left mouse button and aim with the right; use the mouse wheel to select a different weapon.
Press G to use a grenade, R to replenish your ammunition, and F to collect an item.
Hold Left Shift to run, use Left Ctrl to crouch, and press X to take a prone position.
