About Pyramid Solitaire Classic
Pyramid Solitaire Classic challenges you to dismantle a pyramid of cards by making pairs worth 13. Number cards use their printed values, while the ace counts as 1, the jack as 11, and the queen as 12.
Kings are worth 13 and can be removed alone, which gives them a special place in the clearing plan. When the pyramid does not offer a useful pair, the draw pile supplies another face-up card to work with.
How to Play Pyramid Solitaire Classic
Select two available cards whose combined values equal 13.
Use an ace with a queen, or a jack with a two, when those cards are exposed.
Remove a king by selecting it as a single card rather than pairing it.
Take a new face-up card from the draw pile when the current cards cannot help.
Tips & Tricks
- 1Clear exposed cards that uncover the lower parts of the pyramid.
- 2Remember the useful pairs: ace and queen, jack and two, and king by itself.
- 3Before using the draw pile, inspect the pyramid for every available combination totaling 13.
