About Minesweeper
Minesweeper is a solo puzzle about clearing a rectangular board without detonating hidden mines. Every field can contain useful information, and the numbers reveal how many mines are hiding in neighboring fields.
The fun comes from turning those clues into safe decisions. You must separate squares that can be opened from squares that should be treated as dangerous, gradually making the hidden board understandable without setting off a bomb.
How to Play Minesweeper
Use the mouse or touch controls to interact with the board.
Clear fields while avoiding the hidden mines.
Read the number on an opened field as a clue to nearby mines.
Use the neighboring clues to decide which unopened fields are safe to clear.
Tips & Tricks
- 1Compare a number with all of its unopened neighbors before choosing a square.
- 2When the clues identify a mine, avoid opening that field and use the information around it.
- 3Work through connected clues methodically so each cleared field helps explain the next decision.
