About Mumble Jumble
Mumble Jumble is a word puzzle about rearranging mixed-up letters into five-letter words before the clock ends your attempt. Its family-friendly format keeps each answer focused, while the large collection of common words gives you plenty of letter combinations to work through.
Choose between two ways to play. Endless mode gives you 20 seconds for each word, whereas Time mode gives you three minutes to complete as many answers as possible. A next-word indicator, word skips, score tracking, and word-count tracking help you follow your progress as you play.
How to Play Mumble Jumble
Use your mouse to select and arrange letters until they form a valid five-letter word.
In Endless mode, finish the current word within its 20-second limit before moving on.
In Time mode, solve as many scrambled words as possible during the three-minute session.
Use up to three skips during a game when a word is not coming together.
Tips & Tricks
- 1Check common letter patterns first, especially familiar beginnings and endings found in five-letter words.
- 2Use a skip selectively when the available letters suggest several possible answers and the clock is moving quickly.
- 3Watch the next-word indicator so you can mentally shift from the completed answer to the following scramble without losing time.
