About Mini Dice Chess
Mini Dice Chess combines familiar chess ideas with a roll of the dice. Instead of freely choosing any piece on every turn, the roll determines which pieces are available to move, so planning must change as soon as the result appears.
This blend of board strategy and luck makes each turn a compact decision. You still need to think about positioning and threats, but the available choice can shift unexpectedly. The game supports both one-player and two-player play, making its small chessboard useful for solo thinking or a match against another person.
How to Play Mini Dice Chess
Click or tap a piece and then select its legal destination on the board.
Roll the dice at the start of a turn to discover which pieces can be moved.
Choose a useful move from the pieces allowed by that roll.
Watch the opposing pieces while preparing your next board position.
In two-player play, alternate turns and respond to the other player's choices.
Tips & Tricks
- 1Before moving, inspect every piece permitted by the roll rather than choosing the first available option.
- 2Use an allowed move to improve your position even when it does not create an immediate attack.
- 3Keep important pieces protected, because a future roll may leave you unable to move the piece you want.
