About Hazard Pay

Hazard Pay is a trap-filled 2D platformer set inside a chaotic factory. Safe-looking routes can change without warning, with disappearing floors, moving doors, and spikes placed near landing spots.

Choose between three unusual workers with different movement abilities. Cinder can jump from walls, Pip can perform another jump in mid-air, and Rivet can hover while scanning for concealed hazards. The goal is to survive 60 handmade shifts and use earned hazard pay for hats and trails.

How to Play Hazard Pay

Guide your worker with A and D or the directional keys, then use Space, W, or Z to jump.

Hold the jump input to gain extra height, and press S or Down to pass through thin platforms.

Use R to restart a shift and Esc to pause when you need a break.

Pick Cinder, Pip, or Rivet according to the movement ability that suits the obstacles ahead.

Tips & Tricks

1Test suspicious floors carefully, since the safest-looking route may hide a trap.
2Save Cinder's wall jumps, Pip's second leap, or Rivet's hover for moments when ordinary jumps are unsafe.
3Use the drop-through action only when a thin platform leads to a useful route, not when spikes wait below.
