About Ember Ascent

Ember Ascent is a one-tap arcade climb where you guide a dragon upward through a shifting sky. Each tap gives the dragon another burst of lift, making every moment a quick decision between gaining height and avoiding danger.

The journey passes through distinct regions, including the Ember Foothills, Storm Peaks, Frozen Summit, and the Void. Flying hazards change along the way, from flocks of crows and crackling lightning bats to storm clouds, frost wisps, and void wraiths. A Guardian waits at each zone gate, while collected embers can open dragon skins, permanent upgrades, and entries in the collection codex. Three difficulty modes add different ways to approach the ascent.

How to Play Ember Ascent

Tap the screen or click the mouse to launch the dragon and provide upward boosts.

Guide the dragon through the changing sky while avoiding airborne threats and environmental hazards.

Gather embers during the climb to unlock skins, permanent improvements, and codex entries.

Reach each zone gate and deal with its unique Guardian before continuing higher.

Tips & Tricks

1Use short, deliberate taps when hazards crowd the flight path, so the dragon does not rise into danger.
2Pay attention to the current region, since a new area can introduce a different combination of obstacles.
3Collect embers when the route is safe, but avoid forcing a pickup if it sends the dragon toward a hazard or Guardian.
