Defenders of the Realm: an epic war is a pixel strategy battle centered on protecting a castle from attacking monsters. You command knights and place your troops where they can answer threats moving toward the kingdom. The battlefield is divided into five lines, creating a compact defense puzzle in which position matters.
Enemy forces approach from the right and may include powerful creatures and magic spells. To hold the realm, you build new units, arrange your army, and respond to the advancing assault. The dark-age setting gives the simple placement system a clear purpose: keep the castle safe while remaining in command of the kingdom.
How to Play Defenders of the Realm : an epic war !
Place your troops in the lines used to defend the castle.
Watch the right side, where the enemies enter the battlefield.
Choose among the five lines when positioning knights and other units.
Build new units to strengthen the army as the attack develops.
Use your defensive arrangement to stop the creatures before they reach the castle.
