About Dead Rails

Dead Rails places you in a ruined Wild West where an unknown virus has created dangerous zombies. Your armored train is both transportation and protection as you travel toward the last station, searching for survivors, useful resources, and a possible cure.

The journey mixes first-person shooting with exploration and survival tasks. You can enter abandoned cities, clear buildings, mine materials, discover rare gear, improve your weapons, and keep the train supplied with fuel while mutants and zombie raids threaten the expedition.

How to Play Dead Rails

On PC, use W, A, S, and D to move, E to pick up a specific item, and G to discard one.

Use the left mouse button to drag items or shoot. On mobile, move with the left joystick and use the right side for camera control and buttons.

For train control, press W to move forward, S to stop, and Space to leave the train. Keep fuel available before pushing farther into the ruins.

Tips & Tricks

1Search abandoned places carefully because resources and gear support the train journey and your equipment.
2Clear threats before spending too long in exposed areas, especially when mutants or zombie raids are nearby.
3Balance fighting, mining, and fuel management so the expedition can continue toward the final station.
