This first-person shooting game sends you into the backrooms with a clear objective: fight through hostile encounters and locate the exit. Movement, aiming, firearms, grenades, and close-range attacks give you several ways to handle the danger while exploring the maze-like setting.

Finding the exit lets you progress, and surviving the growing enemy presence gives the mission added pressure. New, more powerful weapons become available as you advance, making careful use of your equipment important during each push forward.

How to Play Backrooms Assault 2

Use W, A, S, and D to move around the backrooms, then use the mouse buttons to aim and fire.

Press R to reload, G to throw a grenade, and H for a melee attack when enemies are nearby.

Flashlight use is assigned to F, while C crouches, Space jumps, and Shift makes you run.

Choose weapons with the number keys from 1 through 9, press M to mute, and use Tab to pause.

Tips & Tricks

1Reload with R before relying on your weapon in another encounter, so an empty magazine does not interrupt your attack.
2Keep the flashlight control in mind when the backrooms make visibility important, and use crouching or running deliberately.
3Save grenades and melee attacks for situations where ordinary shooting is less convenient, while continuing to search for the exit.
