About The Angler
The Angler puts you in a boat with a practiced fisherman searching a prepared fishing spot. Fish of different sizes move through the water, and the most exciting catch is one of the larger specimens.
Fishing is the main challenge, but the game also adds a bomb option for a more forceful way to interact with the fish. You can play with keyboard controls or tap the on-screen buttons, making the short arcade activity easy to operate.
How to Play The Angler
Move the boat or fishing position horizontally with the left and right arrow keys, or tap the matching screen controls.
Press the down arrow when you want to lower the fishing action and catch a fish.
Use the spacebar to activate the bomb, or tap its on-screen button.
Watch for fish moving through the supplied fishing area and try to catch them, including the bigger ones.
Tips & Tricks
- 1Position yourself beneath the fish you want before using the down arrow, since horizontal movement sets up the catch.
- 2Keep the bomb available for moments when a direct fishing attempt is not the approach you want to use.
- 3On a phone or tablet, use the visible controls deliberately so movement and catching do not get mixed together.
