About Steel Advance

Steel Advance puts you behind the controls of an M4 Sherman during a World War II defensive mission. You must operate the tank, protect your base, and attack the enemy barracks that stand in your way.

Sandbags and the surrounding terrain are part of the tactical challenge. They can provide cover or obstruct incoming shells, but careless placement can also seal off your tank. A successful mission depends on combining movement, cannon fire, and carefully shaped protection.

How to Play Steel Advance

Move the tank with the WASD keys.

Aim and fire the cannon with the right mouse button.

Push sandbags into useful positions to make cover or interrupt enemy fire.

Destroy the enemy barracks to win the mission.

Avoid losing the tank, having the base leveled, or becoming trapped by sandbags, since any of these ends the mission.

Tips & Tricks

1Leave your Sherman a clear route whenever you arrange sandbags around it.
2Use sandbags to reduce exposure while keeping enough space to maneuver.
3Watch the tank's position before pushing another barrier, because entrapment ends the mission and requires a page refresh to redeploy.
