About Stacklands
Stacklands combines card play with city management by representing people, resources, and other entities as cards. Its distinctive puzzle comes from placing cards together and discovering what those combinations do automatically.
For example, a Villager card placed on a Berry Shrub can gather berries, while moving the Berry card onto the Villager helps restore that villager's satiety. Quests add further goals to this hands-on system, so organizing the card table is part of both the puzzle and the management.
How to Play Stacklands
Drag cards or tap them to move them around the play area.
Place related cards together to make their represented entities interact.
Use collected resources with the appropriate cards to support your villagers.
Work through the quests while experimenting with useful card combinations.
Tips & Tricks
- 1Keep track of which cards perform a task and which cards provide its needed resource.
- 2After a villager gathers berries, move the food back to that villager when satiety needs attention.
- 3Try orderly card placement so active combinations are easier to recognize and manage.
