About Stack Tide
Stack Tide turns falling shapes into a careful balancing puzzle. Each piece must join the tower while water gradually threatens the space below, so a careless placement can affect the rest of the run. Rotating and positioning the drifting blocks gives you control, but physics decides whether your structure holds.
The endless format makes every attempt a fresh test of judgment. You are not simply building upward; you are choosing between a quick drop and a better fit while the tide becomes more demanding. Its two-dimensional design keeps the rules easy to understand, while the combination of timing, balance, and pressure makes small decisions important.
How to Play Stack Tide
On a computer, shift the current block with A and D or the left and right arrow keys. You can also reposition it by dragging with the mouse.
Change the shape orientation with Q and E, or use the up and down arrow keys. On mobile, tap and drag the piece to place it.
Press Space or Enter to release the block. Pieces that miss the tower fall into the water, the sea rises, and the run ends when the structure can no longer keep up.
Tips & Tricks
- 1Rotate before committing to a position, especially when the next piece does not naturally match the tower.
- 2Use the available width thoughtfully and favor placements that leave a stable surface for later shapes.
- 3Treat every drop as important: a missed block raises the water faster and reduces the room available for your tower.
