Shaftbound

Shaftbound is a precision platformer about descending through dangerous underground shafts. Along with careful jumps, you have a grappling hook to swing past hazards.

Managing momentum is the key skill: a good swing carries you across wide gaps, while a bad one sends you into spikes. There are 36 handcrafted stages with checkpoints and rewards to collect, and the deeper you go, the tougher the obstacles get.

Move with A and D or the arrow keys, and jump with Space, W or Up.

Fire the hook with X, Shift or a mouse click.

R restarts, Esc or P pauses; mobile has JUMP and HOOK buttons.
