About Maritime Conflict
Maritime Conflict turns the classic battleship idea into a focused naval puzzle. You face an opposing fleet across a hidden board, choosing where to attack while trying to work out where enemy ships may be positioned. Every successful hit gives your search more direction, while a missed shot makes the next decision more important.
Matches use alternating turns, blending deduction with a little luck. The clean 2D presentation keeps attention on the board and the battle itself, making each exchange feel like a compact contest of planning. Your objective is simple: locate and sink the entire enemy fleet before your opponent does the same to yours.
How to Play Maritime Conflict
On a computer, use the mouse to choose a cell on the battle board and launch an attack.
On a phone or tablet, touch a board cell to fire at that location.
Take turns selecting possible ship positions until one fleet has been completely sunk.
Study the result of every attack and use it to guide your next choice.
Tips & Tricks
- 1Spread early guesses across different parts of the board so your search does not remain concentrated in one unhelpful area.
- 2After finding part of a ship, test nearby cells to identify its direction rather than returning immediately to random locations.
- 3Keep track of missed spaces and confirmed hits, since both kinds of information narrow the places where ships can still be hiding.
