About Family Squid Challenge

Family Squid Challenge is a two-player arcade adventure where cooperation matters as much as movement. You and a friend guide your characters through a dangerous 2D setting while black- and red-masked guards patrol the area. The goal is not simply to move quickly: both players must stay alive while searching for the keys needed to finish the level.

The game mixes platform action with a shared survival task. One player can help create space by defeating an enemy from above, while the other searches for the colored keys. Because the challenge requires both characters to survive, successful play depends on watching your partner, choosing safe moments to move, and keeping your progress together.

How to Play Family Squid Challenge

Player one uses WASD, while player two uses the Arrow keys to control movement.

Guide both characters through the stage and avoid contact with the masked enemies.

Land on enemies from above to defeat them rather than trying to pass carelessly.

Collect the blue key and the red key as you explore.

Complete the level only when the required keys are collected and both players remain alive.

Tips & Tricks

1Stay close enough to notice when your partner is in danger, especially before moving past a masked guard.
2Use a jump to deal with an enemy from above, then continue only after the path is safe.
3Plan key collection together so one player does not rush ahead and leave the other exposed.
