About Chess War
Chess War asks you to guide a chess piece across a blocked board until it reaches the red flag. Movement follows chess rules, but the route also involves shifting parts of the board to deal with obstacles in your way.
The puzzle is shaped by a limited move count, so reaching the destination is not enough on its own. You must combine legal chess movement with careful board manipulation before your available moves run out.
How to Play Chess War
Move the chess piece with the mouse according to its chess movement rules.
Shift half of the board left or right when an obstacle blocks the route.
Work toward the red flag while keeping track of the number of moves used.

- 1Study the obstacle positions before committing to a move.
- 2Use board shifting only when it creates a legal and useful route toward the flag.
- 3Avoid unnecessary moves, because the move limit can end the attempt before the piece arrives.
